The funeral prayer for PTI worker Ijaz Satti, who died while in police custody in Rawalpindi, was held yesterday in his native village of Thoon, Kotli Sattian.
Roads were blocked to prevent people from attending funeral. Containers were placed on Lehtrar Road, a key route toward Kashmir, causing long traffic queues. Residents also told that police heavily surrounded the family’s home and that members of the public were not allowed to join the funeral prayer.
