Instead, they are acting as enforcers of illegitimate orders, supporting the tyranny and fascism dictated by high-ranking officials. Their actions undermine justice and basic human rights, reflecting shame on the entire force.
It is indeed shameful that those entrusted to protect citizens are now aiding oppressive regimes rather than standing for justice and democracy.
