The market value of a one-kanal plot in E-11 is approximately Rs100 million, yet these plots were allotted for only Rs1.57 million each. This is how the corrupt mafia in power rewards the equally corrupt bureaucracy for carrying out their unlawful orders to silence dissent, often committing severe human rights violations. On one hand, the people are being told that the country is in an economic crisis, with no relief in sight, and the IMF is being begged for loans. On the other hand, bureaucrats and government ministers are being showered with hefty sums of money and lavish perks in exchange for providing unlawful support to sustain this illegitimate regime.
