Sanam Javed, mother of two has been jailed for exercising her right to free expression, while repeatedly being denied bail, meaningful access to legal proceedings, and meetings with her parents and children. Now, after reportedly being removed from hospital care without allowing even a brief meeting with her mother, serious concerns over human rights and due process continue to deepen. Denying a mother access to her daughter is not “SOPs” it is inhuman.
