Agha Sheikh Sarwar’s Father Faces Arrest Warrants — Allegations of Pressure Through Family Members

Serious concerns have emerged over legal proceedings against Muhammad Sarwar, the father of Agha Sheikh Sarwar, raising questions about whether family members are being drawn into criminal cases to exert pressure on their relatives.

According to the information reported, Lahore District Court Judge Naeem Wattoo approved a request for non-bailable arrest warrants against Muhammad Sarwar, directing police to produce him before the court on October 1.

Investigating Officer Najam Bajwa reportedly accused Muhammad Sarwar of destroying or tampering with evidence and told the court that he had failed to appear when summoned for investigation.

The central question is whether the allegations against Muhammad Sarwar are supported by independent evidence, or whether these proceedings are being used to pressure his son, Agha Sheikh Sarwar.

Criminal responsibility must be individual. No father, mother, spouse, or child should face legal consequences merely because of their relationship with someone under investigation.

The allegations must be examined transparently, with full respect for due process and the presumption of innocence.

Justice must be based on evidence, not family relationships. The law must never become an instrument of pressure.
