Police Crack Down on PTI Protesters During Azadi March, Harassing Women and Attacking Vehicles

Lahore, 25 May 2025 — Punjab police launched a heavy crackdown on PTI supporters during the Azadi March called by Imran Khan. Police attacked protesters, especially targeting women, and harassed them amid the protests.
During the chaos, police used force to disperse the demonstrators, breaking windshields and windowpanes of PTI vehicles. PTI leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid was among those targeted; her car was attacked, resulting in a cracked windshield and minor injuries.
