The question is unavoidable: why target the family of a man who lost his life during a political protest?
Why the fear of citizens gathering peacefully to demand their rights?
A state confident in its legitimacy does not need raids, intimidation and detention to silence families of political victims. Political dissent is not a crime, peaceful assembly is not a crime, and grief is not a crime.
The use of state power to intimidate citizens must end.
