What kind of government uses the police to stop political opponents from attending a funeral? What threat does a coffin pose to those in power?
This is not governance it is the misuse of state machinery to intimidate, harass and silence political opponents. When even a funeral becomes an occasion for police obstruction and detention, it reveals just how far the abuse of authority has gone.
The state is supposed to protect citizens and uphold their rights not turn grief into another arena for political repression.
Political dissent is not a crime. Attending a funeral is not a crime.
Stop weaponising the state against citizens.
