Another man accused in the May 9 cases has left this world. Chacha Shah Alam of Mianwali, who was regarded as a close and loyal supporter of Imran Khan, spent several months behind bars, often in chains.
Those who knew him say that despite everything he endured, Shah Alam would always put his own suffering into perspective. He would say that compared with the imprisonment Imran Khan was going through, he had not even endured a fraction of it.
