Concerns Raised Over Deaths and Health Conditions of PTI Workers in Custody and After Release

Questions are being raised in political and public circles over the reported deaths of several PTI workers during imprisonment or shortly after their release.

Observers and party representatives are asking why multiple individuals lost their lives in custody or soon after regaining freedom, and whether proper medical care and due process were ensured during detention.

Further concerns have also been expressed regarding reports of deteriorating health conditions among detainees, including recurring claims of eye-related complications and other medical issues developing during or after incarceration.

Among the names being circulated in these claims are: Iftikhar Jutt, Nadeem Chaudhry, Muhammad Latif, Syed Mujahid, Abdullah Alam, Jamsheed Khan, Waqas Gujjar, Yousaf Khan, Abid Masih, Qasim Khokhar, and Hafiz Adnan.

Critics are calling for independent and transparent investigations into these incidents, questioning who will be held responsible and whether adequate safeguards exist for prisoners’ health and human rights.
