Serious concerns have emerged regarding SHO Aizaz, posted at Adiala Jail for over 1.5 years. According to Omer Ayub he is the brother of a PML-N MPA and that his long posting is politically motivated, raising questions about neutrality and abuse of power.
SHO Aizaz has been at the center of multiple acts of oppression against Imran Khan Sisters and peaceful protestors, including members of Parliaments and PTI Leaders. During demonstrations, he oversaw the use of water cannons and other forceful tactics even while Imran Khan Sisters and protestors were reciting the Quran, demonstrating blatant disregard for basic human dignity and religious sentiment.
He is acting as a direct instrument of the Establishment and Government, carrying out political directives rather than upholding law and justice. Such partisan behavior undermines the credibility of law enforcement and emboldens the suppression of dissent.
