Accountability Under Article 6: Holding Perpetrators, Abettors, Facilitators, and Collaborators Responsible

The story of Pakistan’s recent turmoil is a tale of betrayal, conspiracy, and the urgent need for justice. It is a story that exposes how a well-coordinated plot, involving powerful figures and institutions, sought to undermine the very soul of democracy and sovereignty of the nation. The question remains: who are the real perpetrators behind these treacherous acts, and how can justice be served under Article 6?

Pakistan has witnessed a series of events that have shocked the nation and raised serious questions about the integrity of its institutions and leadership. The regime change orchestrated by General Qamar Javed Bajwa was a well-coordinated conspiracy executed against the democratic fabric of the country, involving not only political actors but also military officials, intelligence agencies, media houses, bureaucrats, and politicians.

The story begins with the controversial regime change attempt in April 2022, followed by the events of May 9th, which was a false flag operation aimed at cracking down on Imran Khan and PTI. This was then followed by the theft of the mandate in February 2024 and the unconstitutional amendments (26th and 27th), which undermined the constitution and the will of the people. These actions were orchestrated by those seeking to consolidate power at any cost.

One of the darkest moments in this series of events was the Islamabad massacre, where peaceful protesters demanding their constitutional rights were met with brutal force. Armed with straight bullets, security forces fired into crowds, causing the loss of innocent lives and deepening the scars of repression. This massacre was a clear message to anyone daring to oppose the imposed regime.

The perpetrators of these heinous acts include high-ranking officials such as the Army Chief, the Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Politicians, and senior bureaucrats. Media houses that were complicit in spreading misinformation and justifying violence also played a role in this treacherous plot. Politicians and bureaucrats who facilitated and collaborated with these forces should also be held accountable under Article 6, which calls for justice against treason and betrayal.

The nation now stands at a crossroads, demanding accountability and justice for those who betrayed the democratic dreams of Pakistan. The story of these events is a stark reminder of the importance of sovereignty, constitutionalism, and the ongoing fight to preserve Pakistan’s independence from internal and external conspiracies.
